Henrik Fisker, Director of Design - Aston Martin Lagonda
Aston Martin Lagonda appointed Henrik Fisker as its Director of Design responsible for shaping all future models for the company in September 2001.
Mr Fisker brings with him a wealth of design experience that covers a wide and diverse area. Aside from his responsibilities for Aston Martin Lagonda, he is also Creative Director of Ford's London Design Enterprise based in Soho.
Mr Fisker joined Aston Martin from Designworks USA - a BMW Group Company - where he was President and Chief Executive. Based in Newbury Park, California with a European office in Munich, Germany, Designworks USA is one of the world's leading edge design companies.
Prior to this, he was a director of BMW automotive design from 1997-2000 and from 1989-1992 he was a designer at BMW Technik GmbH - the advanced design studio in Munich, where his work included the interior of the BMW electric show car.
Mr. Fisker was employed from 1992 to 1997 by BMW AG (BMW headquarters design center) where he designed the exterior of the Z07 show car for the Tokyo Auto Show. He was also responsible for the exterior of the Z8 Roadster production car which was launched in 1999.
His new responsibilities at Aston Martin Lagonda will see Mr Fisker managing the complete interior and exterior style and design of all new Aston Martin models.
Mr. Fisker, was born in 1963 in Denmark and studied in Switzerland at the Art Center College of Design from 1986 - 1989.
