2004 Nissan 350Z Roadster Review, Pricing, and Specs.

2004, Nissan, 350Z Roadster

Ahh...spring! Time to throw it all to the wind, let your top down and run wild in a ragtop. Here are some numbers that I love and yearn for.

The 350Z coined " lust then love" ; a distinct nod back to the original Datsun 240Z, has a look that's part retro, part futuristic.

This new Z has plenty of "poke" (287 hp 3.5L DOHC 24-valve V6 engine) and the cornering and handling were just what you'd expect from a legend.

The 350Z' s snazzy interior (brushed aluminum, drilled pedals and all) has a center console wide enough so that you're not bumping elbows with your first mate. The drivers seat cushions hug the waist and are contoured below the shoulder area to allow the arm more play for swifter shifting and cornering.

The Z is a true two-seater, with a huge hatchback intersected by a strut --that passes through the cargo space-- to boost structural rigidity. As one observer noted; " This car is begging for a dance partner". Starting price: $33,850
