2005 Saleen S7 Review, Pricing, and Specs.

2005, Saleen, S7

If 500-horsepower isn't enough for you musclemen, then stick your arm out and make a fist because Saleen is shooting up the horsepower with an adrenalin pumping 750 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque for the new 2005 Saleen S7 twin turbo.

Saleen changed the exterior, to denote the extra horsepoweer and moeny well spent, including touches such as the new diffuser/rear spoiler and the reshaped front fenders.

The chassis was reengineered with revised suspension to improve performance dynamics with increased comfort. The engine was updated to accommodate ball-bearing twin-turbochargers packing 5.5 psi of max boost pressure.

According to Saleen the 0-60 is 2.9 seconds. If you can't afford the $550,000 price tag take a look at the $37,000 Saleen S281 Mustang with the V-6 325 horsepower or the $45,000 Saleen S281 supercharged with the V-8 400 horsepower.
