Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. announced that "Raider" would be the name of the company's new midsize truck to be unveiled at the 2005 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Mitsubishi's customer are younger and willing to take a second look to the new vehicle that features interior and exterior designs created by Mitsubishi Motors Cypress, California design studio.
Around Cobo Hall at the Detroit Auto show the consensus was that Mitsubishi should have a Do Not Resuscitate on it, but Chrysler it still giving it life support, building the midsize pickup on the Dodge Dakota platform.
